Kerem Arıç

A partner with Yazici Attorney Partnership, Kerem Arıç is a dual-qualified (Switzerland and Turkey) lawyer with over 20 years of experience in Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Energy Related Construction and Finance, having practiced in various locations such as Switzerland, France and Turkey.

Kerem’s experience in the Oil and Gas Industry ranges from regulatory and upstream contracts to major IPOs, acquisitions and project finance. With the team at Yazici Attorney Partnership, he has been advising oil majors and independent companies in their projects in Turkey and abroad, with a specific focus on Iraq. He has gained solid experience in contract negotiations with both host governments and services companies.

His practice covers every stage of upstream activities such as production and revenue sharing, regulatory work, joint operating, farm-in, drilling and field services, as well as in downstream activities including natural gas storage, pipeline projects, oil and gas sales agreements. Kerem is also proficient in Oil and Gas related construction, production and processing facilities and has been involved as lead counsel in major EPC and O&M agreements in Turkey and abroad. He frequently represents both lenders and borrowers in the context of project finance and restructuring transactions in the natural resources and power generation industry.

Kerem holds Law Degrees from both the Geneva University Faculty of Law and the Ankara University Faculty of Law. He also holds an LLM from the Panthéon-Assas Paris II University.
